SEN Web Site Status
About 2 weeks ago a hacker organization was able to exploit a system bug and take over the SEN web site server and attempt to get a ransom from us. At that time if you tried to go to the site, you would have seen a somewhat cryptic message offering to help us if we paid them 0.1 BTC, meaning Bitcoin. We contacted our service provider and worked with them to recover the information. The system provider was able to recover the site; you will see it if you go there now. They also identified the probable issue with the commercial software and fixed that problem. We did not pay any ransom and do not appear to have lost any significant amount of information.

It is important to understand that SEN emails, like this one are not sent from that system. They are sent by a completely different service provider. This means that data base of email addresses is NOT on the system that was compromised.
