Roger, I am hearing through the grapevine that F1S motor runs through the first 5 rounds will be reduced to 7 seconds commencing in 2024. I have been unable to verify this in black and white from any proprietary source. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Lmk. Thanks! -j

An updated flyer is below showing the FAI opportunity remaining available Sunday (tomorrow) as well as the Saturday events delayed to next week, with confirmed Americas Cup approval of this plan. Per request from the National Cup coordinator, AMA events for approved National Cup purposes will be next weekend only.

THIS Sunday, October 15, 7:30 am to 1pm (per original schedule)
FAI events: F1A (large glider), F1B (Wakefield, see note below)*.
FAI events will have 5 rounds.
AMA events: See below.
NEXT Saturday, October 21, 10 am to 5 pm (rescheduled date Oct 21)
FAI events: F1C (power), F1H (small glider), F1J+F1P (power), F1S (small electric), F1G (small rubber) and F1Q (Electric) (**)
There will be a short ceremony honoring John Clapp and the distribution of his ashes at 1 pm.
AMA events: E36, Electric-A, Electric-B, E20, Hand Launch Glider, Catapult Glider and P30. Flying for National Cup purposes will be Saturday only.
Entry fee is $25 for all events. Fuel donation $5. (Please bring the exact amount)
Directions to the field are on www.brooklynskyscrapers.org
(*) F1B fliers, please contact Aram and Andrew if you intend to come. If none are present this Sunday, then F1B will be moved to next weekend (Oct 21 or 22).
(**) F1Q will be flown with 2Joules/gr.
