Roger Morrell: In response to the FB questions both asked and not asked I can say that in flying at Lost Hills for over 25 years that this was the most difficult thermal conditions ever. Both in terms of ‘clever’ sportsmen finding the thermals before launch and ‘clever’ models finding them afterwards There were only 2 sportsmen with clean scores, Ken and Sevak.
Mike Richardson: Sunday’s weather was a little different, extremely windy, 10 to 15 mph. Naturally after the contest ended so did the wind. Thank you Walt, you ran a great and fun contest.

Mike Richardson There was only 2 of us, Mike Pykelny and myself. After the first flight and a long chase that ended up in what I call the Holloway Pit, I conceded to Mike. He put up his remaining 4 flights with a short dt. Walt timed and I chased. Still ended up in the pit with the dt wire in the 2nd scroll.

an America’s Cup event. As always, we welcome all free flighters and
participants may fly any free flight models informally.
