NFFS sponsors nine National Cup competitions, details are outlined in the National Cup Rules posted below.

2024 National Cup Final Scores – December 31

Here are the final standings for the 2024 National Cup contest points. This was a year of a considerable number of firsts:

o First time winner in Small Nos Power
o First time winner in AMA Rubber
o First time winner in Youth
o First time winner in Glider
o First adult female cup winner
o First time winner of Grand Champion
o New Glider Champion for the first time in 22 years
o New Grand Champion for the first time in 13 years
o New Youth Champion not named Skilly in 5 years

What’s even more remarkable is that all of those are from the same
family–Josh, Hope, and Caleb Finn. Hope was the only one that had a secure hold on the AMA Rubber Cup by virtue of her performances in those events at the Nats. The rest were obtained at the final contest of the season at Palm Bay. Josh nudged out Rocco Ferrario, another would-be first time winner in Small Nos Power. Caleb just edged out Wes Reuter, the winner before Skilly started her reign. Speaking of her reins, she’s become a very accomplished equestrian, performing as part of a synchronized team at Colorado rodeos.

Yet another first time winner is Glenn Grell, winning the NFFS Rubber Cup. Drake Hooke repeated as Electric Champion for the first time, in a see-saw battle with Jack Murphy all year. Jack did however win both of the Electric America’s Cups in F1Q and F1S, and made the F1Q team to represent the US in the upcoming World Championships.

Glenn Schneider repeated as Large Nostalgia Champion for the tenth time in eleven years, and Guy Menanno, another US Team member in F1C, repeated his win in AMA Power from two years ago.
