Dear Anthony, (In response to Anthony's quest for plans or a kit to build this winter)
There are many choices available. It looks like we will start with a max wingspan and 200 gram weight. High thrust models are easier to adjust, but more difficult to handle in the engine running, plumbing, etc. Good high thrust designs are the T-Bird, and the original starduster. (not the X or 350 versions) . Kits are available for T- Birds ($32.00), and plans are available for stardusters . I do not stock the plans, but I can get them. ($6.00) Pylon ships available: Fortastrop, Ramrod 250 (plans only at this point), Half A Spacer (difficult to adjust), Mini-Pearl(Plans from me, kits from R. Linwood Cochran.), Half A Zeek (A little small, but mine weighs almost 200 grams. a decent engine would make a good combo.). The BMJR Kiwi would also be good. It would be important to aquire several Baby Bee engines, mount them on a test stand and get used to running them using a set-up similar to what will be used on the model (complete plumbing with a timer etc.)
Thanks Lee
