Joe and Lee,
I have been a modeler since my teenage years but have always been reluctant to try free flight as it seemed so difficult to get started. I now have five sons and this year we decided to try free flight. After building hand-held catapult gliders and P30's, two of my boys and I decided to enter our first contest and went to the COFFC meet over Labor Day. We never had so much fun in aeromodeling! We are hooked! The contest director, Larry Willis, and Lee Campbell were especially helpful in getting us going in our first contest. Since then, having watched gas free flight models for the first time, we have been looking for a way to get into gas free flight. For the boys and I the Baby Bee 40 event seems perfect. How can we get started? Are there plans available for building this winter? Thank you.
